History
Politec started its operations in 1970 as a service bureau in Goiânia, followed by its first branch office in Brasília. Both located in the very heart of Brazil. The 80s and the early 90s represented significant investments for the company in Electronic Document Management, Business Process Workflow and Forms Processing Management, in addition to Complex Systems Integration and Consulting services.
That led to its growth by opening branch offices in several Brazilian states like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Norte. In the late 90s, Politec once again broke ground by inaugurating the first Software Factory in Brazil and also by becoming the first Latin American IT Company to receive the ISO 9001 certification. It also gave its first step towards the international market by opening an office in the United States.
Just like its industry, Politec is a company that is constantly evolving and transforming itself. In order to reinforce its image as a leading worldwide IT services provider who is seeking an even broader global coverage, Politec has recently replaced its former “IT Intelligence” slogan by “Global IT Services”.
