Since 1998, Politec has used the Function Point Analysis (FPA) technique for sizing projects. Regulated by the International Function Point User Group (IFPUG), FPA takes into consideration the number of basic functions the system has, irrespective of the technology used. FPA allows for more precise planning for costs, resource allocation and timelines associated with any size project.

Besides offering services for developing and implementing programs used by FPA, Politec also provides clients with the Quantum tool. Quantum allows for automatic tracking of scope changes, time and resource calculations, as well as, the project’s real achieved productivity - all in full compliance with IFPUG standards.
