As a founding member of the Brazilian Association of Information Technology and Communication Companies (BRASSCOM), Politec was present as a key sponsor of an event recently hosted by that organization. It was an exclusive, international IT forum co-located with the 2010 Gartner Outsourcing Summit Latin America. The event was held in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo where a group of approximately 50 delegates primarily from the U.S. and the U.K. had the unique opportunity to see firsthand what Brazil has to offer as a viable Nearshore destination for their ITO/BPO needs. The group of delegates was a powerful mix of executives from global companies, industry analysts and international press. They were able to enjoy a program with 18 Gartner Research presentations by 9 Analysts, “One-on-One" meetings with Gartner Analysts and leading solution providers like Politec, and a Brazil IT Immersion Program (country profile, competitive analysis and identification of key players, etc). The program also included a 360º evaluation of business opportunities in Brazil and Latin America, and guided visits to technology parks, leading universities and Brazilian IT companies. Politec definitely stood out as a leading IT services provider for the Americas. |
