This project is part of a strategic focus corporate re-engineering process. In August 2008, Politec was awarded the “SAP Latin America Strategic References” because of the CRM portion of this initiative

Ministério da Justiça - Brazil
- Industry/Profile: Federal Government – Brazil’s equivalent to the U.S. Department of Justice
- Scope: Development of a system to monitor and respond to intrusion attacks/attempts to break into Ministry of Justice computer network, with special high level security requirements to protect the type of information held by the Ministry of Justice. The system covers the entire data exchange within the National Platform of Information and Public Safety, a network of data, voice and image that connects the Ministry to all Public Safety entities of the country. The solution was completely based on Open Software and complementary tools were developed in Perl or Shell Script. This project and its outcome (the system) were named SAMURAI, which is the Portuguese acronym for Multitask Automated and Unified system to provide Advanced Responses to Incidents
